hey, family! remember the days that i’d get on snapchat and explain where each piece of my outfit came from and more than likely it was from a thrift store? well, this entire outfit (minus the bodysuit) is from the thrift store. went winter shopping in brooklyn last month and copped this vintage air force one bomber jacket for a smooth $25 and copped these xl pants (from the men section) for a nice $5. talk about deals!? yes, covid has everyone stuck in the house, but please, please do not forget that the thrift stores are still alive and open, especially if you’re on a tight budget. get into these looks! hope you enjoy, xoxo.
All Black, Who Dat?
Baby wanted to see y’all and say “hi”! This is Look 2 of my Luxe Street Style Shoot- although I wouldn’t deem this look as “luxe” I’ll allow the boots (my favorite part of the outfit) to speak for themselves! One thing every woman should have in their closet is a LBD (Little Black Dress), as we all know. It’s easy to throw on. You can pair sneakers, boots or heels with this number, complete it with a hat (baseball/dad hat + fedora + bucket hat) and go on about your business. So with that, enjoy this look!!!
LUXE, Full Look
Ok, so here’s the run down on this photoshoot. I was in the middle of a dream, Saturday morning, the date of this shoot, and I said “SHOW UP FOR YOURSELF!”. As soon as I heard those word, my eyes shot open and I began to prepare for the morning ahead. I got dressed, packed my looks, packed my tripod + prop (1 chair) and headed out the door. It was windy and very cold, but I was determined for this shoot. I planned it for over a week and I was ecstatic when the day finally came! I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again “Do the work and God gon’ meet you half way!” Words that ring true to my heart. I hope you enjoy these photos just as much as I enjoyed creating these moments!
